#BlackWomensEqualPayDay is several weeks later this year than last. This means the gap widened. In 2022, it took 9 months into the following year for Black women to earn the same as white men did in 2021. You will lean on us to fill in the gaps but don’t want to run that check.

My mom raised me and my sisters after my dad died when I was 3. She struggled and worked multiple jobs to support our family. And she didn’t get her first job that gave her benefits until I was 14.
