African royals were invited to the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. Ọba Adésọjí Tadéniáwò Adérẹ̀mi, the Ọọ̀ni of Ifẹ̀, led the Nigerian delegation.

African royals were also invited to today's coronation.
