U.S. Secretary of Commerce announced the creation of the U.S. AI Safety Institute Consortium (AISIC), which will unite AI creators and users, academics, government and industry researchers, and civil society organizations in support of the development of artificial intelligence

Leading AI companies, including OpenAI, Google, Meta, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, and others, have joined the AI Safety Institute Consortium (AISIC) to develop guidelines and standards for safe AI deployment.
