Does LDL-C lowering to <40 mg/dL impair cognition over the long term?

Today at #AHA23 we showed, for the first time, that evolocumab + statin did NOT affect cognition up to *7.2 years*, despite LDL-C levels ~35 mg/dL.

Once again, very low LDL-C appears safe over the long term.

It was an amazing experience presenting our work at the AHA23 in Philadelphia. Always a pleasure connecting with friends, colleagues and mentors who have devoted their lives to advancing the field of cardiovascular health 🫀.
