Excited to share my news that this week I've been appointed Assistant Headteacher at my fantastic school. I haven't participated in any @WomenEd activity but the #10percentbraver encouragement was a great push to go for it!!

1 yr ago, I was a Head talking about wellbeing! I hung up the headship hat in August to prioritise my wellbeing and I have no regrets. Odd at times. Sad still at times. But, it was a change that was needed. #10percentbraver doesn’t always mean climbing higher ⁦#WomenEd Being10%Braver 🦩⁩

So I was #10percentBraver & applied for a great SLT job at a lovely school. Went through the first stage last week & then interview today. I didn’t get to the final stage, but am still massively proud of stepping way out of my comfort zone & getting to the final 3. @WomenEd
