🧵On Monday 15 April a trial involving a former Brigadier-General from #Syria is commencing in Stockholm District Court. He is suspected of aiding and abetting war crimes through indiscriminate attacks against civilians in and around #Homs and #Hama during the first half of 2012.

On this day 7 years ago, the Syrian government used sarin gas against civilians in Khan Shaykhun. More than 90 people, including children, died.

No one has been held accountable for the attack.

Together with Syrian and international organisations we work to end the impunity for the Khan Shaykhun attack and other crimes committed against Syrian civilians.
