Walking With The Wounded Cumbrian Challenge 🏔️

Last weekend a group of employees from Pearson Engineering embarked on a walking challenge to raise donations for Walking With The Wounded 🎖️ in the Lake District, raising over £3,000!

This symbolic lamp will embark on a poignant journey across the English Channel, carried by WWTW and Challenge The Wild, destined for Normandy.

With 158 teams and over 500 participants, our collective goal was to make a lasting impact on the lives of veterans and their loved ones. We're proud to have raised nearly £4,300 👏

We're proud to share that Marc Bird & Richard Whitworth have completed the #CumbrianChallenge , conquering the 21km hike with a 1,400m ascent in an impressive 5 and a half hours, all to support Walking With The Wounded 🎖️ ⛰

Incredibly proud of our team members who participated in the Cumbrian Challenge in support of Walking With The Wounded 🎖️ this weekend. This annual event brings together teams to tackle the demanding terrain of Cumbria, all in the spirit of raising funds and awareness for wounded veterans.

This weekend, over 100 #TeamDXC colleagues completed the Walking With The Wounded 🎖️ Cumbrian Challenge hiking across the Lake District.

We trekked 21 km to a 1,400m Ascent and were part of the larger Gasway Team, which managed to raise over £38,000! so thank you to all who donated!
