Today is International Museum Day 🥳

When you visit the Castle make sure to put the The Argylls’ Museum at the top of your list.

Home to a wealth of military artefacts and treasures, the museum brings the rich cultural links of one of Scotland's great highland regiments to life.

It's #LoveATreeDay and our mighty Beech is the loveliest tree in town.

We don't know exactly how old this timber titan is, but as beeches are slow growing, rough estimates put the tree at anywhere between 170 and 200 years old!

We don't always get sunny days here in Scotland, but when we do we really put on a show! 🏰🌞

We think that Robert The Bruce has one of best view from the Castle esplanade looking out across Stirling. Do you agree?

It might be easy to forget, but amongst the turbulent political and military history of the Castle, many have called the mighty fortress home.
