I prefer to reach Paris on the bike but there‘s a first time for everything i guess. It was great to be there with the team yesterday anyway. Stomach finally feels better too as you see.

Super disappointed to leave the Tour de France™ today. My legs were just completely empty after not being able to eat proper without getting sick after yesterdays stage. The Tour has been great with a superstrong Team Cofidis (2 stagewins!!!) and great atmosphere!

Didn’t see that nightmare of a day coming. Don’t know if i ever had a harder day on the bike. Thanks for all your messages and support throughout the day everyone.

You know it’s been a tough first week in Tour de France™ when you‘re happy to use this while shaving your legs.

Very sad to see problems with some spectateurs every year in the Tour. Take a step back please. We are using all of the road at times.
