Two simple accessibility things when you are making/sharing documents for others to read or give feedback:
- Use a sans serif font (calibri, ariel, aptos, etc)
- Don't use justified alignment

The golden rule of academic etiquette:

If the public speaker makes direct eye contact with you, you respond with an enthusiastic nod of encouragement.
