2⃣It ensures students reflect on learning
3⃣It serves as a barrier to AI replacing learning

This. All these new products that clearly spend a ton on marketing, flashy social media, and 'certified' user/badge programs to promote them without solid use case examples are concerning. How is this a value-add and not a duplication of service? Also...that data privacy piece 👀
