Thank you to our families for joining us for our #EasterService this morning. We shared readings and songs to celebrate the joy of Easter and then had a special Easter blessing from Rev Julia NCEA Trust Melanie Hinson

Our oldest children finished their enquiry about location by mapping a walk to Cresswell where they enjoyed a picnic on the beach before returning to school. We're reliably informed they did 20,000 steps! NCEA Trust Melanie Hinson

We are really excited (and lucky) to welcome Neil to our school next week. You can come at 2.15pm on Tuesday 19th, to hear Neil give top tips about sharing stories at home THEN your child will join you for a very entertaining story. This session is for any of our families.

Years 1, 2 and 3 joined 200 other children from across NCEA Trust for a Miner's Picnic this week as part of their local history enquiry. They enjoyed traditional singing as well as a parade with our school proggy mats and a Punch and Judy show Melanie Hinson

Woodhorn Museum we loved taking part in the Miner’s Picnic today at Hirst Park. It was even better than last year being joined by other schools from the Trust. Thank you to the musicians from @DukesNCEAT
