It’s time for change.

We must make sure that no victims of the Post Office scandal are left to suffer due to any loopholes in legislation currently going through the Scottish Parliament.

Only Labour can deliver the change Scotland needs.

Police Scotland are receiving mental health related calls as frequently as 3 or 4 calls a minute on a busy day. Dealing with this demand equates to 600 police officers a year. This morning I suggested the creation of a national triage service for mental health referrals.

After 14 years of Tory chaos, it's time for change.

There were serious failures at the Crown Office when it came to prosecuting Post Masters using evidence from the Horizon system. Enough was known about the failures in the system to prevent some of these prosecutions taking place.

The victims of the infected blood scandal were failed.

The state must be on the side of victims, not the institutions who seek to deny them justice.

The Post Office scandal is far from resolved. Yesterday I welcomed the opportunity to question the Lord Advocate on the issue. The Crown has a duty of disclosure which does not appear to have been applied in these cases.

Continuity won't cut it.

On Tuesday the Scottish Government announced a housing crisis. Today the Cabinet Secretary came to Parliament to announce emergency measures being taken to avoid a crisis in Scotland's prisons. I asked her if all victims will be properly notified of proposed early release cases.
