An awesome day celebrating NYC pride 🌈 ✨ and co-organizing the bimonthly NYC Code & Coffee meetup to catch-up and talk all things code with NYC based tech folks and #100Devs ! Thanks for the incredible space too, General Assembly allowing us to attend the parade as it was literally downstairs!
Bravo👏to Casey! 🌈🫧 (he/him) @[email protected] who delivered a powerful workshop on burnout yesterday NYC Code & Coffee . Burnout can happen to anyone regardless of the field they’re in. Good thing is that it’s easy to identify and there are proven strategies that can mitigate it’s effects/prevent it.
First time attending NYC Code & Coffee today with Antonio Lo Fiego ☁️ (he/him) too! Great time. The tech scene in NYC is definitely 🔥 Shoutout to Steve for putting together something so awesome.
Learning about NoSQL BrainStation from the Couchbase team.
Shout out NYC Code & Coffee 👨🏾💻 ☕️
#couchbase
Cool to know that they made their own SQL called SQL++. Also, SQL databases scale vertically where as NoSQL databases can scale horizontally
Two meetups. One weekend. Lots of learning.
Treadwell Park, 301 South End w/ some NYC Moneyvest members: Fundamental, Technical Analysis, Macro Economics, Stocks & Options; 👍
At BrainStation w/ NYC Code & Coffee meeting dev & making new friends. 👍
How Git Works
I had the honor to give this talk - live in New York City - in an NYC Code & Coffee Meetup.

We discussed the different Git objects (commits, trees, blobs), branches, recording changes. We then create a repo from scratch.
The first NYC Code & Coffee organizer dinner Haidilao US & a celebratory dinner for Steve and his new role 🎉🥳with the best hotpot(!), 2 noodle dances, good convo/laughter and ending it all with home-made boba. Grateful for this team! Next meetup is tomorrow - see y’all there!☺️

Thank you Steve for a great #coffeechat and for offering your time to others as well.
With such a tremendous story and vibrant air, it is no wonder that NYC Code & Coffee is a success!
If any other #100devs are looking for a chat, please reach out to them. #DEVCommunity
Fun times at NYC Code & Coffee. Made this journey feel more... real, I guess? Shook some hands and talked with some cool people working in tech. #livingthedream
