NSW Parliament House 430 votes were cast for the Upper House ballot paper, Legislative Council of Ice-cream, Fruit and Veg. Ice-cream was elected as the favourite group with 138 votes and Fruit was not far behind with 137 votes.

NSW Parliament House On the day, 426 votes were cast for the Lower House ballot paper, the Legislative Assembly of Colour. Blue was elected as the favourite with 159 votes and far behind was pink with 76 overall votes.

More than 850 votes were cast at our polling booth at NSW Parliament House on Friday, 19 April for the Festival of Democracy.

It was a great experience for kids to learn all about voting and elections.
