The Rt Hon Prime Minister today on behalf of the Commander in Chief of Uganda’s armed forces, launched the Environment Protection Force established under Section 25 of National Environment Act and operationalized by Statutory Instrument No 32 of 2024.

The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) Executive Director Dr. Barirega Akankwasah, PhD launching the Environment protection force as a tool to conserve and enforce protection of our environment as epitome of World Environment day celebrations.
