Happy Earth Day! Today we wanted to highlight one of our partner’s Toribio and his reforestation project. Toribio works in his commstore to not only educate people on the importance of climate change, but also makes wooden spoons out of fallen trees in his town.

Enactus friends and alum! Today is NCC’s day of giving! Your past donations to North Central Enactus have helped us subsidize cost for student travel to Guatemala, purchase coffee from our partners, and has given us the ability to DOUBLE our annual sales.

This week's alum is Grace Halla! Fun fact: last year, she helped establish our Artisan project. Currently, she’s the Marketing Coordinator at a supply chain and manufacturing company located in Naperville.

Our next alum is @CoryellJoey! Fun fact: he's been a part of the Xela Chocolate project since he was a sophomore & led the project last year. He worked really hard to help establish the project before he graduated. He's a recent graduate from a master's program in South Carolina!

Next up is alum George Castellanos! Currently, he's a Marketing Manager at Innovative Dental Partners, an award-winning multi-specialty dental corporation in Naperville, IL. He'S also starting his own coffee brand from his motherland, Honduras that will be roasted in our coffee lab.

This week's alum is @MargueriteKuntz Fun fact: last year, she helped develop our branding and marketing for Conscious Bean Coffee. Currently, she’s an Operations Assistant at Guaranteed Rate!

Our alum this week is Justin Simbol! Fun fact: he was the competition president last year and helped our team place 3rd at Enactus Nationals after 33 years! In the fall, he will be returning to school to study law.
