Agree! The winds in Oklahoma were huge. Great day to throw a discus for right handed throwers. The wind, however, accounted for a minimum of 10% of the total distance. If you threw 200’, that would be approximately 180’ with no wind.

We always thought 224’ by Mac Wilkins at the ‘76 Olympics was perhaps the greatest throw of all time. Montreal’s Stadium was almost entirely enclosed, zero wind.
