Tonight it was great to visit Harlow and catch up with Labour candidates for the local elections after speaking at their campaign launch event.

I even met a very longstanding Labour member who as a teenager delivered leaflets for the Party in the historic 1945 General Election!

When Liz Truss rejects a windfall tax on the £170,000,000,000 profits oil and gas giants are expected to make, it's worth remembering:

She's a former Shell employee whose party has taken more than £1,500,000 in donations from the oil and gas industry since the last election.

Jeremy Corbyn’s wage policy would have meant the wages of CEOs of companies bidding for public work would be capped at a maximum of 20 times the wage of their lowest paid worker. If they wanted more then pay workers more.

We need that policy now.

British Gas owner, Centrica, just had a fivefold soar in their profits.

I'm a very experienced A&E nurse and my wage is so low that as a widowed single parent I also receive universal credit.
So don't you dare use the fact that as a life saver, I've been undervalued by government as an excuse to bash the !
They are paving the way for me.

12 years of below inflation pay rises has brought us record use of foodbanks and a cost of living crisis. The Tory govt response is to urge further pay cuts.
The RMT are right to fight back. Teachers, nurses, drivers, shop workers & others need to join the fight.
