We’re thrilled to share that 86 members of the House of Representatives, led by Earl Blumenauer, Rep. Nunn and Rep. Jason Crow, have joined the call to authorize the highest possible number of visas for the Afghan Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) Program in upcoming legislation.

Thanks to the dedication of No One Left Behind's network of donors, volunteers and staff, we're working each day to evacuate our loyal wartime allies. In April, our efforts moved 132 people out of harm's way, putting us nearly 20% of the way to our goal of saving 7,000 this year.

No One Left Behind could not agree more with Niskanen Center's Idean Salehyan in his recent piece discussing the critical importance of fulfilling our nation's promise to our Afghan allies.

In March, 210 lives were changed through No One Left Behind's resettlement initiatives. We ensured that newly arrived allies had safe and secure housing, assistance with transportation, access to household essentials and guidance through the employment landscape.

Thanks to the dedication of our donors, volunteers and staff, No One Left Behind's efforts moved 260 people out of harm's way in the month of March. That brings our current number to 1,163 allies evacuated since January and a grand total of 5,988 lives saved since August of 2021.

The Department of State's quarterly report of the Afghan Special Immigrant Visa Program is out. We saw a significant increase in the number of visas issued. While remarkable progress continues to be made, processing times remain one of the greatest areas for improvement.
