I’ve really been enjoying Jan Swafford’s excellent biography of Johannes Brahms in the run up to the German Requiem with @choiroftheearth. Have just seen this wonderful musical depiction of a heavy sigh that JB wrote in a letter to Clara Schumann 😮‍💨
