Mona Eltahawy I was just RAGING about this second speech on Instagram. What on earth and how did he get to be in a position to lecture women who CHOSE to get an education about their 'vocation as wives'? I'd have dragged him off that stage by the ankles.
Mona Eltahawy It's not surprising when I think about people talking about the sanctity of fetus are OK and even encouraging the mass scale massacre and starvation of living, breathing children. The common link between the two is the desire to control the other under one's boot.
As Mona Eltahawy said, patriarchy operates:
-in the home
-in the streets
-by the state
