Today, I’m exactly one year into remission from cancer.

Again.

It turns out that it wasn’t illegal to get cancer twice as I purported between 2019-2023 during my first remission from stage a stage 3c melanoma diagnosis.

But now that I’m in remission from a stage 4 recurrence,…

I’ve had 6 occupational therapy sessions and they’ve been a game changer for my hand pain & fat necrosis at my surgical site. She started taping my hands and IDK why but it helps! I’ve also been trying biofeedback for daily pain. I’m a happy person 😊

The new baby has a name! His grandfather's name was Ghibli, so we've decided to name him Kaonashi (No Face).

Very much enjoyed this one too.

A day of beauty, good food, and laughter
Precious moments holding off
long line days filled with apprehension
palpable moments of grief and loss
anxiety of the opaque future
that wants to drag into oblivion.

This is the 14th Mother's Day without my Mom. She was a dear sweet woman who was also badly scarred. She was always so proud of me but would be even more so today.
