Credit due to so many campaigners, some of their MPs, and informed peers. Also, to my good colleagues Matthew Pennycook MP Angela Rayner 🌹, who will complete the job if we secure a Labour victory on July the 4th.

The last bill to go through House of Lords in this parliament was the next stage of leasehold reform. Pleased that progress has been made with cross party support fuelled by the campaigning zeal of Leasehold Knowledge + NLC - LEASEHOLD CAMPAIGNER - #reLEASE us.

I do not agree with everything Michael Gove did in government. But I respect him for having the courage of his convictions. He was an effective minister almost all the time, as well as being a delight to work for. The Conservatives are weaker for his standing down.

Michael Gove has done a lot for the #BuildingSafetyCrisis . He has taken it seriously when others told us we were overreacting/should pay (@BorisJohnson Robert Jenrick...). He hasn't been able to do enough but he made the most progress and I am thankful for that.
