Our families in Newham London 💙 feel what it means to be this much of an outlier on the chart. If this many families where displaced due to a natural disaster -an emergency would be declared.
We cannot continue to ignore this level of human suffering. Help us Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities!

This data is terrifying - figures show finances are now unsustainable. But the horrific human suffering and destruction of our beloved mini's wellbeing and life-chances is unforgiveable.

Hundreds of children across Newham are living in temporary accommodation without access to a kitchen.

Last week, in a debate in Westminster Hall, I drew the lessons from the success of Newham London 💙 in delivering free school meals for all primary school children since 2009

Three things to ask yourself during every immigration policy announcement:
Will this stop deaths in the channel?
Does this create a safety net for vulnerable people?
Will this decrease xenophobia?

The answer to all 3 is no.

It's a privilege to work alongside the The Magpie Project with some of the strongest and resilient mothers that I have ever met and their children. They all deserve so much more. Please sign the petition.

The number of households and children in temporary accommodation is already the highest on record, but it could get even worse.

In an election year, we have a real chance to reverse this trend and create a future where TA is short, safe and healthy.

We got quite a few, but not video 6!

Many of our families live without free access to a toilet - forced to share facilities with strangers.
This makes potty training feel unsafe, unsanitary, sometimes impossible.
Our workshops provide a place to chat through problems with peers, as well as potties, and stickers!
