Martin Lewis It was longer than 5 years ago but I sent First Direct a poem complaining about an automatic fee for going over my limit for a day.
They replied by leaving a poem on my answering machine saying they would refund it😊

Martin Lewis Age 6 we visited Harrods as a huge treat. I'd been told it sold 'everything.' I wrote to Mr Al Fayed to tell him how sad I was he had no elephant slinkys. Few weeks later and one turned up at our door in scotland plus a handwritten letter from Mr Al fayed himself.

Martin Lewis Beat advice I heard was IF you suspect that there will be several letters in a complaint-chain, number them in the letter. It might concentrate the mind of the recipient if they read 'letter 5'...

Well that was the find of the week in my local charity shop...50 lovely quality envelopes from The Letter Press of Cirencester, should be £39....got them for a quid! 😁 Handwritten Letter

Alan’s going to think I’ve lost my marbles but 1) it was all I could find to write on and 2) it was just to show handwriting/life doesn’t have to be perfect, especially in a letter. Also 3) it’s quite a lot harder to write with a crayon than anticipated… 😄🖍✉️🫧
