Director Rachael Hewer shows considerable comic flair in the Feydeau + surrealism of Twice Alexander & there are engaging performances throughout from the Royal Academy of Music students, all impressively held together by conductor Lada Valesova. Just one more performance on Friday 10th

Brilliant! This resonates with Bulgakov’s Master and Margarita and the speaking cat Behemoth. We have slightly different touch on it! Looking forward to having you there! 😎🎼⭐️

Fascinating living link to the music of antiquity. The care lavished on this reconstruction and presentation is wonderful to see.

It’s been a rich and rewarding week with the studio run and transfer of our Royal Academy of Music
Opera Double Bill to the Susie Sainsbury Theatre. Shaping up to be both poignant and hilarious show. Great inspired and honourable work from all. 👏🏻⭐️🎼

Sad news. My very first job in UK still as a Guildhall School of Music & Drama student was at Glyndebourne on the legendary Nikolaus Lehnhoff production of The Macropolous Case conducted by Sir Andrew. Unforgettable and eye and ear opening experience. Rest In Peace.

Karel Ančerl was born on 11 April 1908. His legacy on Supraphon and DG is astonishingly great in many respects, not least in preserving the unique sound of a great orchestra in its prime. What are you favourite Karel Ančerl recordings?

Sounds glorious! Will look out for it. Also wonderful dramaturgy, but frankly would enjoy hearing Brin in any bass rep. 👏🏻⭐️🎼

From recent trip to Prague. The President’s standard flares over the presidential palace at the Prague Castle. Bright day and contrasting light. Geometry. Energy boost, old connections nourished, new connections started. Life goes in circles.

Sitting at home after three consecutive nights out, and I’m… booking tickets for more stuff.

Two summer term shows at Royal Academy of Music, to be precise: Lada Valesova’s Martinů double bill, and Into the Woods.

Front row counts as restricted view so is only £20 😃
