.Jaelynn Anthony 2026 kept finding herself in tough jams Wednesday, but kept pitching out of trouble, leading Oswego Softball past WWS Tiger Softball 5-0 to a sectional final.

Due to yesterday’s rain, todays Sectional Softball game at Plainfield North will start at about 5:30 pm after the conclusion of the 3 pm game that was a reschedule from yesterday. There is an admission charge and no pets are allowed.

And the Kendall County Preps - Shaw Local Athlete of the Week is...KCHAV😛 of Oswego Softball! Congrats to all the nominees and thanks to all who voted. Our interview with Kiyah will be in this week's paper and online Thursday.

With Addison Fanter 2025 committing last week, it hit me our little 10u-13u softball team now has four D1 softball commits, with more surely to come! Fanter (@LipscombSB), KCHAV😛 (@iowasoftball) MelissaSaldana07 (@MastodonSB) and Ava Drehs (@BluejaySoftball). So super proud!!!
