As Ilford North’s Labour MP, I led the successful campaign to save King George A&E.

That A&E found my kidney cancer and our NHS saved my life.

Patrols have taken place in the alleyway next to Abbey Road, following concerns of ASB reported by residents.

This area will now become part of a multi-agency project to reduce the opportunities for crime and disorder and to make residents and commuters feel safer.

Aldborough SNT conducted a weapon sweep in the undercroft and front gardens of Aria Court, Perrymans Farm Road after residents reported local ASB issues.

No discarded nor stored weapons were found during this search.

Today I spoke to Tom Edwards about our campaign to reopen Broadmead Bridge & the impact its closure is having on the local community.

Government must step up & support urgent repairs now.

In the meantime we're continuing surveys to determine the extent of repairs needed.
