Australians want good health, this paper demonstrates the health risks of ultra-processed foods. These make up around 40% of energy in our diets.
Time to regulate to promote nutritious diets:
- protect children from UPF marketing
- strong labelling schemes
- tax/pricing levers

A must watch.

A detailed analysis Chris van Tulleken 🏳️‍🌈 & Henry Dimbleby of how our food system undermines our health and what governments can to fix it.

Top policies:
- octagonal warning labels 🛑
- restricting unhealthy food marketing
- reformulation tax on sugar/salt
