Two things: 1) Faith Rogow is the best! 2) You know it's a good book because she helped us make it better😀💡📙 Let's hear it for experts (when they're talking about their area of expertise...we have a whole chapter in on that in fact)!

This is one of my favorite chapters in our book. I mean...uhhh...they're ALL my favorites, but the one on phishing was a lot of fun to write (they were all a lot of fun to write).

One thing we often miss about talking media literacy with pre-teens is that we significantly overestimate their level of prior knowledge and their confidence in what they know. Something that seems obviously fake to us may not to them. How do we see it from their perspective?

I can't think of a better way to celebrate than to get this book into the hands of your middle grade readers. It's FABULOUS! A brilliant way to engage kids in ed using curiosity & imagination rather than anxiety & guilt.

Co-authoring a book (out tomorrow!!!) made me think about how many jobs represented as solitary are much easier to do with a partner. I'm agnostic about AI as a 'solution' to wanting a work partner, but it does seem to filling a gap that's really there. ft.com/content/c4b450…

It's great that colleges are getting serious about digital literacy, but that effort feels much, much too late. So does getting started in HS, for that matter. Daniel Pereira and I have an idea to help: announcement on April 2. Watch this space.
