People are now recommending BDCFT NHS's Well Together service to friends and family! The volunteer run service has brought so many health and social benefits to service users, staff and the volunteers themselves! Very well done!

We have now proved that #volunteers can support #healthcare staff and their patients in a wide variety of roles! This example from Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Friends of Moorfields shows a trained 'Hand-Holding' volunteer reducing patient anxiety by providing reassurance & comfort during eye surgery!

These volunteers from University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust provide bag drop services to allow friends and family drop off items for in-patients unable to receive visitors. This provides comfort to patients and reassurance to their friends and family. Great example of how volunteers support #healthcare

Wonderful to see End of Life volunteer impact Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NNUH Volunteers. We interviewed an End of Life companion volunteer from Cardiff and Vale University Health Board last year and were completely blown away by the positive impact these volunteers have had for families, staff and service users.
