2021’s theme is “Ecosystem Restoration”
It can take many forms: growing trees, greening cities, rewilding gardens, changing diets or cleaning up rivers and coasts.

Lebanon is home to 1 tortoise & 4 turtles (2 freshwater - 2 marine). The main threats that these species are experiencing are habitat loss, climate change (due to the sex being determined by their environment) & their unsustainable overexploitation as pets. 2/3
