As part of #FCF24 Waitrose & Partners hosted a cooking masterclass at their cookery school in London for foster carers and care experienced young people. 🥙

Chef Alex and his team were brilliant, teaching 18 foster carers and young people how to make flatbreads. 👨‍🍳

We had such an amazing time walking in Cardiff to raise awareness of foster care. We were delighted to be joined by Olympian Fatima Whitbread, who is a huge advocate for children in care.

Mara and her son Kristaps are part of our Step Up Step Down programme in Northern Ireland, which supports families on the edge of care.

Those are the words of a teenage boy cared, for by Maria, after he’d saved her name as ‘Mum’ in his phone. This is such a great example of how those special moments can show the impact foster care has. ❤️❤️
