This is fantastic news!

I was diagnosed with epilepsy 10 years ago and it has seriously curtailed my ability to travel.

This pass will make an enormous difference to thousands of people with this lifelong condition.

Well done to Epilepsy Ireland

This is very welcome news. Well done to Epilepsy Ireland and all that advocated for this. I work with many people with acquired epilepsy and free public transport will have a very positive impact on their lives

Thank you to Heather Humphreys for making this happen - Epilepsy Ireland Aindrias Moynihan TD and I have been pushing for this for a long time along with others. Epilepsy is a hidden disability for many and needs wide ranging support to live best lives possible. This is great today😊😊

Congrats to Epilepsy Ireland for their tireless campaigning here, to achieve this win.

It made no sense for one hand of the state to tell people they couldn’t drive, but another hand to say they can’t have free public transport

This is some of the best news I’ve heard in a long time, when I first developed epilepsy I just assumed I’d get a free travel card given that I’m literally not allowed to drive so I’m delighted to hear that’s finally changing 👏🏼
