Finished reading MAL GOES TO WAR on the mrt today. It's got all the dark humour and logical tautology that I love in Edward Ashton's work, and has a thing or two to say about how we find our friends and draw our lines. And redraw them. Great read.🔥⚡️

I need to throw a shout-out here to my Czech translator, Vladimir Novy. He's handled two of my books now, and in both he's found errors that have slipped past both me and all of my editors (one of them was a math error 🙄). Kudos, sir. You have a keen and merciless eye.

It's a fantastic book - funny, intelligent, exciting, poignant too & the tension mounts throughout to a great ending. Loved it!

Just finished MAL GOES TO WAR by Edward Ashton. A near future story about Mal, a untethered AI who is searching for a new cyber home and finds itself to be more human than most of the humans it meets. Equal parts exciting, humorous and moving, it’s a great read!

Do not walk but run to your nearest book store to pick up Mal Goes To War by Edward Ashton. This book is what good sci-fi at its best. 5/5 stars
