Patient referred from OSH for pacemaker extraction due to persistent MRSA bacteremia. Discovered this not so subtle vegetation at the IVC/RA junction during pre-op TEE. I wasn’t anticipating having to use AngioVac, but the results were quite satisfying.

Highlights from my talk on OAC in device detected atrial fibrillation (DDAF):
