#CyCon2024 „Over the Horizon“ starts already tomorrow! This year, we are thrilled to host on stage around 100 speakers to discuss the most topical technical, policy, legal, and military issues related to cyberspace and its impact on our societies. See you in Tallinn!

This week, we had the pleasure of participating in the #COEmarketplace , organized by NATO ACT. The event provided an excellent platform for engaging in productive discussions with fellow COEs and the greater NATO stakeholder community about potential cooperative activities.

Today, we were honored to welcome Dr Tobias Lindner, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany 🇩🇪 at the NATO CCDCOE to discuss enhancing cooperation in cyber defence as cyber attacks are a permanent threat.

With the increased relevance of the use of biometric data in conjunction with military operations, the “Conference on the Law Applicable to the Use of Biometrics by Armed Forces” provided a high-level opportunity for discussing related problems and possible solutions.

#LockedShields optional track 'LS24 AWS Security Jam', organised in cooperation with Amazon Web Services, brought together experts from around the world to tackle pressing cloud security challenges. Congratulations to the participating teams for their exceptional performance!

Both NATO CCDCOE and their flagship exercise #LockedShields have grown impressively - with over 3500 participants from 41 nations, this year’s exercise is the largest to date.

Whole-of-society approach and international cooperation are a must in defending us in the cyber domain.

Today, U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission Gabrielle Cowan visited the #LockedShields2024 exercise at NATO CCDCOE and explains how the event gives NATO Allies the opportunity to exchange best practices, boost trust and resilience, and increase cyber readiness across the Alliance.

Yesterday, we were honored to welcome Chief of Defence of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, General Steve Thull to discuss the works of the CCDCOE.

Last week we were happy to host leaders and researchers from Columbian university Universidad Surcolombiana to give an overview of what CCDCOE does and in particular, the activities and research of our Law Branch – including the Tallinn Manual, the Cyber Law Toolkit among others.

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming MajGen Jürgen Brötz, Designated DCOS Cyberspace and NATO CIS Group. #Cybersecurity is more important than ever and we were delighted to discuss CCDCOE's & CR14's work on raising cyber defense capabilities for NATO & like-minded nations.🛡️🤝
