Governments arguing over spending doesn’t help the people of Edinburgh West.

What my constituents and the rest of Scotland really need is two governments that work together.

I welcome the compensation scheme announced and the minister's assurances that the recommendations are accepted from the Infected Blood Inquiry's report yesterday.

We must ensure that those infected and affected have continued dialogue with sufficient transparency.

Pleased to secure support for my Private Members Bill to improve support for bereaved children following a moving debate in Parliament.

I hope the Government will work with me to ensure every child knows how and where to find the support that’s right for them.

Across Edinburgh West people on prepayment meters see their credit wiped out by the higher standing charges they are forced to pay on their energy use.

I urged the Government to tackle this unfairness following Ofgem’s consultation.

The final report of the Infected Blood Inquiry has now been published.

I hope the Government listen to the many voices in #EdinburghWest and across the country affected by this scandal, and accepts its recommendations swiftly.
