Today, the Timiza Youth Initiative joined Plan International in Kenya for a mangrove restoration exercise at Mtwapa Creek, Kilifi County, as part of the launch of the Conservation of Marine Ecosystem project, #COSME .Together, we successfully restored over 5000 mangroves.

Yesterday's project review meeting in Mombasa with our donors and partners was incredibly productive!

We showcased progress, achievements, challenges, and recommendations for our Innovative Public Safety Initiatives project.

Through K-grant, some of the partners have built their financial and programmatic capacity opening up opportunities for other donor funding and recognition. The funding has promoted their collaboration with various stakeholders including the county and national government.

ONGOING! review meeting for our 9 K-Grant partners in Kwale, Mombasa, Tana River and Kilifi. The capacity of the grassroot communities have been build to respond to climate change. Lessons learnt and challenges shared to improve the next wave of implementation.

Home.

During the gathering, we took the opportunity to reflect on our accomplishments in advancing innovative and sustainable public safety solutions in Kilifi County.
