My presentation highlighted the role the private sector can play in raising climate financing in Africa.

As youths, we call for the Green Climate Fund to be reformed along three key areas:

1. Streamlining of the Simplified Approval Process.

2. More budgetary allocations towards methane abatement and climate mobility.

3. Inclusion of youth reps in the Governing Board.

#UNEA6 finally came to close on Friday, with 15 resolutions and 2 decisions being adopted. I'm honored to have worked with the amazing Children & Youth Major Group to UNEP to ensure that the adopted resolutions in Cluster E reflected the desires of the youth.
