This important MYTIME Young Carers report based on educational outcomes for young carers in 7 primary schools in Dorset shows why it's so vital this data is being examined at a national level. Further evidence for why identifying/supporting young carers in schools must be a priority.

It’s absolutely right that people unfairly hit with huge fines for Carer’s Allowance overpayments should have them written off

This hounding of unpaid carers needs to stop and the broken, archaic system must be fixed

The Govt's response isn't good enough.

The number of carers falling foul of the DWP system when all they are trying to do is care for loved ones shows it's the DWP system at fault, not carers.

The Govt needs to start listening to carers and overhaul #CarersAllowance completely.
