Minimum wage just went up (quite rightly) by 9.7% -- roughly matches inflation.
5% feels more ideological than mathematical.

The Government also claimed the excess death rate in England had tripled compared to the two weeks before strikes. This is true, but in Wales it was >1️⃣4️⃣ times higher.

The Government is intentionally trying to mislead the public.
