Today Fisheries Minister Mark Spencer joined representatives of the fishing community in #Grimsby to mark the first #NationalFishingRemembranceDay .
He laid a wreath to honour the lives of those lost at sea and recognised the valuable service of our fishermen.

Good discussion with NFU county adviser in LNR members on impact of recent wet weather & flooding, plus wider issues of farm business/food supply resilience in the face of future extreme weather 🌧️ ☀️
Following many meetings with Gareth Davies MP & Alicia Kearns MP regarding the terrible flooding which took place in Tallington, Lincs this winter - it was great to meet with local residents, Parish Council & Environment Agency to discuss how best we can mitigate future flood risk impacts.
