What an incredible day at Beacons of Hope this weekend!
Thank you to everyone that came to celebrate Calgary's first responders, and to the organizers for making it all possible.
We can't wait to see what's in store for us next year!

For 29 years YouthLink Calgary has been more than a destination; we're a hub for education, crime prevention, and a gateway to the fascinating history of the Calgary Police.
Celebrate National Tourism Week with us this weekend by visiting us! Open Friday & Saturday 10 AM-4 PM.
It's #NationalVolunteerWeek & we're giving a HUGE shoutout to the amazing volunteers who are at the heart of everything we do.
Last night, we hosted an appreciation night to thank them for the countless hours they dedicate to making our programs thrive & our community stronger.
๐ For #NationalVolunteerWeek , we want to recognize & thank the 329 dedicated volunteers who donated their time to support 11 programs across the Service. Last night's #BeaconsOfHope Kickoff Event was one for the books! The room had an amazing energy that set the tone for what's ahead. Remember, the main event is on May 11 at McMahon Stadium, where our community comes together to celebrate the officers who keep Calgarians safe.
Yesterday, we gave a sneak peek of the Rogues' Gallery, to top Calgary Police executives, our board, the Calgary Police Commission, and the Calgary Police Youth Foundation board. Inspired by the 1913 Mugshot Book, the exhibit showcases how policing and society have evolved in the last century. Opening April 12th!
This #FlashbackFriday , we take a look at what the Identification office looked like on a typical workday in 1958.
In the photo, you see Detective Don Nelson fingerprinting a woman while Detective Irv Loewen is using the studio camera to take a mugshot.
