The money is really hard but more solvable. Gender/rights=a bigger risk of derailing us. We must fight issues around human rights in multiple ways: value-based, epidemiological, economic arguments. Facing major shocks & multiple crises, we have a broken global financial architecture that does not provide the necessary safety nets for developing countries against all these shocks, those countries are struggling to increase domestic resources for health & HIV.

This collaborative effort (@UNAIDS PEPFAR + The Global Fund) and partners in countries to create sustainable roadmaps that are owned by the country, is very important.

UNAIDS is focusing on supporting countries to lead development of #HIVsustainability roadmaps that will set a path for the future. We launched a new approach in partnership w/PEPFAR & The Global Fund. Political will at country, regional & global level is critical.

Ending AIDS by 2030 doesn't mean the end of responding to HIV. Post-2030, tens of millions of people will still need to be on life-long life-saving treatment. To do this, we must sustain the #HIVresponse , looking at the financial, programmatic & political levels.
