HRH The Duke of Edinburgh took the salute at the centenary parade and service of the Combined Cavalry Old Comrades Association in Hyde Park. More than 3,000 Cavalry Men & Women attended, most in traditional bowler hats, carrying furled umbrellas, honouring the fallen since WW1.

Tpr Ken Batt, RWY, 1938-46, 102 years old today. He was mobilised in 39 sent to Palestine, fought in Iraq, Syria, Egypt and Italy. Wounded twice, 1st at Palmyra then at El Alamein.

At Seaview last week, it was congratulations to Cpl Matt Pollard from Royal Wessex Yeomanry who was awarded the Theodora Trophy and Commodore's Trophy for his sterling efforts racing for the Club in 2022. He crowned this by winning the Yeomanry Trophy in the Regatta!
