Last week committee members Sean Ashton and Malc Gibbons checked the Wardsend nest boxes. There were plenty of chicks in 7 of them and Sean ringed 7 chicks from one box. The others were still too young.
Meanwhile in a Sheffield garden the chicks were fledging.
