As humanitarian conditions deteriorate in Gaza, greater access to food & other lifesaving aid is vital. With USAID support, World Food Programme has helped deliver flour to 5 bakeries in northern Gaza, including one recently opened in Jabalia capable of producing 3,500 bread parcels daily.

The year-long war in #Sudan is leaving countless women and children without access to vital food and nutritional support.

WFP, UNICEF and World Health Organization (WHO) warn that millions of lives are at stake. Urgent action is needed to protect an entire generation from malnutrition, disease and death.

📍 #𝗦𝘂𝗱𝗮𝗻 : 1,200 metric tons of food for 116,000 people are being transported across Darfur.

WFP reiterates that this 𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 it is intended for.
