My Ol’ man talking about his longtime friend and collaborator, the playwright Trevor Griffiths. I’ll remember him as extremely good company as well as ferociously, dazzlingly articulate - could make you cry laughing. Fare forward, Trevor.

The generators have also stopped working and so calls are v short now. No internet of course. They are beyond desperate and terrified. It’s been over 60 days now and it’s just getting worse and worse. 2/2

I will be speaking about a mystery subject at the next Lewes Catalyst Club on 11 October at the famous Lewes Arms. Colour may well feature, but not in the way you may expect from me.
Also on the bill are Robert Cohen and Victoria Shepherd. Tix:

I've enhanced for you this very early autochrome, taken in colour 117 years ago by the Lumiere brothers, in 1906. It uses their own colour photography process which they'd patented 3 years previously. The two little girls are their nieces, Dette and Louloune. It is not colourised

Shamima Begum was born here to British nationals, educated here, radicalised here as a child, trafficked (the court accept that) & she is OUR problem & should be tried here

Secret national security concerns need to be heard before that jury

We can’t have second class citizens

Long-lived and loose-limbed, this yew tree is one of Gwydir’s wonders. Many say it was here before the house was built, grown out of old valley soil. Called ‘The Lover’s Tree’ in the 19th century.
